Windmill Coaches, Coaching Sessions, and Other Inquiries

When you apply for a loan from Windmill Microlending, you also gain access to personalized coaching to support your career transition in Canada. You will have the opportunity to book a one-on-one virtual session with a Windmill Client Success Coach. This session will help you develop a customized Action Plan and guide you toward additional resources and services that can assist you in accomplishing your career goal in Canada. Here’s how the coaching process works:

Booking your coaching session:

  • After submitting your application and supporting documents, you will receive an email with a Calendly link to schedule your one-on-one virtual session via Zoom. If the link doesn’t arrive immediately after the first stage, rest assured that you will still have the opportunity to connect with a coach during the final stage of your loan process.

  • Due to the high volume of applications, it’s strongly recommended to book your session as soon as possible and choose a date and time that works best for you. Please ensure you set aside 30 minutes for the meeting.

  • Once your session is booked, you will receive a confirmation email with the name of your coach and a list of discussion topics to help you prepare in advance.

What to expect in a coaching session:

  • Customized Action Plan: Your coach will collaborate with you to create a tailored Action Plan that aligns with your career goals in Canada. This plan will take into account your education, work experience, and any potential challenges you may encounter in the Canadian job market.

  • Resource Guidance: In addition to personalized advice, your coach will point you toward additional resources and services offered by Windmill and other organizations that can support your career advancement.

What to expect after your coaching session:

  • Follow-up and Ongoing Support: Your coach will reach out to check in on your progress with your learning plan and employment status. You’ll continue to receive support as you navigate your career path and transition into the Canadian labour market.

  • Direct Access to Your Coach: You can contact your coach directly via email with any questions or concerns related to your career, employment, or mentorship. They will provide personalized guidance and assistance tailored to your unique situation.

How to Contact Your Coach:

  • Direct Communication: Use the contact information provided to you to reach out to your Client Success Coach with any questions or concerns. They are available to offer personalized advice and support tailored to your individual needs
