Windmill Mentorship Program - How It Works?

Overview of the Mentorship Program

Windmill’s Mentorship Program is designed to connect Windmill clients with mentors in their respective career industries. The Mentorship Program is FREE, and reserved ONLY for Windmill clients.

This initiative not only helps mentees gain valuable insights into the Canadian workplace but also allows mentors to enhance their leadership skills and contribute positively to the community. Participation in this program is highly valued by both mentees and mentors alike, fostering a mutually beneficial learning environment.

How the Mentorship Program Works

  • Matching Process: Windmill carefully matches mentors—both former clients and other volunteers—with mentees based on their professional backgrounds and career goals.
  • Duration and Interaction: The program runs for four months and offers multiple entry points throughout the year, allowing mentors and mentees to conveniently connect, share knowledge, and learn from each other’s experiences.

Key Achievements of the Program

  • Mentor Matches: Since its inception in 2019, the program has successfully made 720 mentor-mentee matches.
  • Volunteer Hours: Participants have collectively donated 8,160 hours, driving professional success for numerous newcomers.
